Terms of Use & Data Licensing

These terms govern your use of the Self Car Washes service — the websites isepesulad.ee and selfcarwashes.com, the mobile app, and the data feeds they expose (including /api/locations, /llms.txt, /llms-full.txt and /sitemap.xml). By accessing the service you agree to them. The service is operated by Devaster OÜ (Estonia).

The database and who owns it

The directory of self-service car washes — every location record and the compilation as a whole, including addresses, coordinates, operators, opening hours, bay counts and the way they are selected, verified, de-duplicated, geocoded and arranged — is a database created and maintained by Devaster OÜ. It is the product of substantial ongoing investment in obtaining, verifying and presenting its contents.

The database is protected by copyright in its structure and selection, and independently by the sui generis database right under EU Directive 96/9/EC (as implemented in Estonia by the Autoriõiguse seadus and in the other countries of use). Devaster OÜ reserves all rights in it.

What you may do

• Browse the site and app, and use the information to find and drive to a car wash, for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Link to our pages.
• Quote or reference small, insubstantial portions with attribution to Self Car Washes (selfcarwashes.com).

What you may not do

Without a written licence from Devaster OÜ, you may not:

• Extract or re-utilise a substantial part of the database (measured by quantity or by the value of the effort behind it), whether by scraping, crawling, automated download, bulk copying, or manual collection.
• Repeatedly and systematically extract or re-utilise insubstantial parts in a way that conflicts with normal use of the database or unreasonably prejudices our interests — including reconstructing the dataset piece by piece from individual pages, the map feed, or the sample endpoint.
• Republish, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or make the data available as part of another product, dataset, map, or service.
• Use the data to train, fine-tune, or build a competing directory, database, or machine-learning model, except as expressly permitted by a licence.
• Circumvent, disable, or overload any technical measure that protects or rate-limits the service.

The API and automated access

The /api/locations endpoint provides a small sample of locations for evaluation. Access to the full dataset requires an API key issued under a data licence. Automated access without a licence, and any attempt to defeat authentication or rate limits, is not permitted. We fingerprint and monitor the dataset for unauthorised copying.

Licensing the data

The dataset is available for licensing — for navigation and mapping products, fleet and fuel-card operators, equipment vendors, research, and more. If you would like a feed or a bulk export under clear terms, contact info@isepesulad.ee. We are happy to work something out.

Accuracy and warranties

The directory is provided “as is”. Car washes open, close, and change their hours and prices; we verify entries regularly but do not warrant that every record is complete, current, or error-free, and we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the data. Always check on site before relying on opening hours or facilities.

Third-party content

Some coordinates and metadata derive from official operator sites and open government address registers, used under their respective licences (see /llms.txtfor attributions). Maps are provided by Google under Google's terms. Operator names and marks belong to their owners and are used for identification only.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Estonia, and the courts of Estonia have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
